Many adults would relish the chance to revisit their old school and knock it down. And Mike Farley, chief executive of Persimmon, Britain's biggest house-builder, did just that this weekend.
His company has acquired the land in Hornchurch, Essex, on which Hylands Secondary Modern, which became Edwin Lambert Primary School, was built. Farley plans to build 35 new homes there.See the full content of this document
