Summary

IT FIRST hit the road 91 years ago and the headlights are lit with a match - but Alex Zadah finds his Model T Ford just perfect for the weekly Tesco shop.

He boasts his hand-cranked fourseater tourer is more fun, and more thrifty, than many modern cars. Despite being built in 1917, the soft-top car hardly ever breaks down, costs just [pounds]100 a year to insure and is exempt from road tax because of its age.
