AROUND 1,000 families facing deportation from Scotland as illegal immigrants have had the decision reversed and will now be able to stay indefinitely, The Scottish Mail on Sunday can reveal.

The move follows a controversial review of so-called 'legacy' cases, which will also see 140 families being told to leave the country over the next few months.
