Oh dear. It has not been a good week. I have suffered the following rather debilitating setbacks... 1 At my niece's wedding, my brand new Bottega Veneta dove grey strapless dress would not stay up (Carrie Bradshaw never seemed to have the same problem), so I spent the entire day with my elbows clamped to my sides to prevent exposing my nipples to the vicar; everyone thought I was rude as I refused to shake hands or hug. The day only got worse, unfortunately, when the man I was sitting next to for dinner asked me whether the bride's father, who is my oldest sibling and in his mid 60s, is older or younger than me.
