The charity, whose chief executive, Dr Tim Black, earns more than Pounds 150,000 a year, admits it withheld discretionary performance related payments from one centre because workers were failing to meet 'efficiency' targets.

Staff at the clinic were allegedly told they should be carrying out 50 abortions a day nearly double the 20 to 30 normally performed.
