IRELAND may have lost their place at the next World Cup but they could get up to 15 oneday internationals against full members each year between now and 2015 as consolation for their devastating omission.

That was the most positive result from Cricket Ireland chairman David Williams' visit to India this week, where he had a personal meeting with the chairman of the allpowerful Board of Control for Cricket India, Shashank Manohar.
