So, I am here this week to herald the Return of the Belt. Fashion pundits like me are always banging on about 'the return' of this or that which makes one wonder where, exactly, the belt has been all this time. You'd like to think it has been living it up in Rio or Vegas with other peripatetic accessories a snakeskin boot, say, or a diamantE nipple tassel. But the dull truth is that most of our belts have been situated down at hip level these past three years. It's just that now they're heading north and making a bit of a show of it. The return, in fact, is that of the waist.
