POLICE were last night scouring unsolved 'cold case' crime records to try to identify two girls Phillip Garrido may have kidnapped before Jaycee Lee Dugard.

Officers opened the inquiry after another of Garrido's victims claimed he had bragged about abducting two unnamed girls.
