In the aftermath of the atrocity that killed my son and so many others, the people of Lockerbie gave us their love and compassion. They were the heroes who helped us during our unimaginable ordeal. But now the fiasco of Megrahi's 'compassionate release' by so- called Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill has soured our feelings towards Scotland.
A convicted murderer was freed from prison. And while it was presented as an act of compassion for a dying man, it looked to me more like a craven act of submission to the egomaniac Gaddafi and a greedy attempt to build up Britain's oil interests in Libya.See the full content of this document
