EIGHT oil paintings by gangster Ronnie Kray were yesterday auctioned for a total of [pounds]16,550.
The amateurish landscapes were painted by Kray between 1971 and 1977 at Parkhurst prison on the Isle of Wight. It is believed Kray, who died in 1995 at the age of 61, could have gambled them in card games or used them as barter for tobacco.See the full content of this document
