Lavish Tributes for an 'Irreplaceable Talent'

LEADING figures from jazz and broadcasting paid affectionate tribute yesterday to the veteran musician and radio host Humphrey Lyttelton, who has died, aged 86.

'Humph', as he was universally known, had been admitted to Barnet Hospital in North London for heart surgery earlier in the week. He died there on Friday evening, surrounded by friends and family.
