IN TRALEE a fortnight ago, a Munster semi-final was distilled into a scoring battle between two players who were once better known for lighting up the inter-county scene. Even in rainlashed and windy conditions, the cultured play of Declan Browne for Moyle Rovers and Declan Quill for Kerins O'Rahillys shone like a beacon.

Both finished with five points, Browne's all coming from deadballs which was no mean feat in the wintry Austin Stack Park conditions. Indeed, it amounted to over half his team's total.
