For the extra bank holiday in 2012 to celebrate 60 years of the Queen's reign, it would be lovely if we could repeat all the street parties that were held way back in 1977, the Silver Jubilee year. It really did bring people together, which is so badly needed in this day and age.

Now, where have I put that strawberry blancmange recipe? What is the point of it all, Oxfordshire (Mail Online) It will be a well- deserved holiday for Britain and our wonderful monarch. In her honour it should be an annual day off for ever.
