THOUSANDS of drivers in remote parts of Scotland will benefit from a cut in petrol prices as the Liberal Democrats set out to woo rural voters.
Treasury Minister Danny Alexander yesterday announced a pilot scheme to tackle the soaring cost of fuel in rural communities. He pledged to cut the fuel duty for drivers in the country's most far- flung areas, who are currently forced to pay some of the highest prices in the UK.See the full content of this document
