As nine-year-olds, Marcus di Rollo and Gordon Ross started their rugby careers playing for Edinburgh Wanderers on Sunday mornings under the shadow of the old west stand at Scottish rugby's HQ and, from that point on, their careers have developed more or less in tandem.
