And so, here we are, back in the present. I still don't know what to do. I have dished out advice so many times to my girlfriends and sisters when the man in their life cheated ('Get rid of him! Throw him out! How can you ever trust him again! He doesn't deserve you!') but when it actually happens to you, well, life is more complicated than that.
The worst thing is that he won't talk to me about it. Whenever I bring it up (and I do, over lunch at the organic pub, in the queue at Fresh Wild), he looks down, and either smiles smugly, or becomes really cross and defensive.See the full content of this document
