Yorkshire-born Darren Gough has not only been one of England's top cricketers a fast bowler, he captured 229 wickets in 58 Test matches but at the end of 2005 he surprised cricket fans when he edged out Colin Jackson to win BBC's Strictly Come Dancing trophy.

I love the Caribbean. I've played quite a bit of cricket in that part of the world and have a lot of happy memories, so it's somewhere we tend to favour for holidays. It's not only my favourite, my mum and dad love it too.

I first went there with Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 1990. It was straight after a long winter spent playing cricket for a club side in New Zealand with Corkie (Dominic Cork).

I came back, had two days at home then went off to the Caribbean....
