On the far left is Sue Nye, who would later become Gordon Brown's 'gatekeeper', and in the middle is bearded former union leader Jack Dromey, now an MP. His future wife Harriet Harman was behind the camera to capture the republicans' day trip to Boulogne to avoid the national fervour surrounding the Royal wedding on July 29, 1981.
