RAITH ROVERS manager John McGlynn had been hoping that with some of his title rivals employed on Scottish Cup duty this weekend his team could put pressure on the sides below them by taking three points at Forthbank yesterday.

However, in the only Division Two match played, he was left frustrated as Stirling Albion produced their best performance of the season so far to record a 2-1 victory.
