Mcletchie: The ' Taxigate' Truth

Mr McLetchie insisted he would not resign after becoming embroiled in a bitter storm over his taxi bill, which has cost the public a total of Pounds 11,500 since he become an MSP six years ago.

Breaking his silence on the affair, he launched a scathing attack on his critics.

He insisted all his expenses were above board and called for the books to be opened on claims submitted by all the other 128 MSPs...
