THE MRI scanning firm at the centre of a damaging Labour cronyism row has been accused of dramatically failing to fulfil its promises.
Alliance Medical embroiled former Health Secretary Alan Milburn in controversy last June after it won a Pounds 95 million, five- year contract to provide 12 mobile MRI scanning units to hospital trusts. The Mail on Sunday revealed Mr Milburn was employed by the firm's parent company as a Pounds 30,000-ayear consultant and that he was also a close friend of Health Minister John Hutton, the man who announced the deal.See the full content of this document
