GOLLY gosh, can't folk take a lighthearted comment without getting all dark about it these days? I mean, there is a golliwog in the White House after all. Or would you prefer I said a half-caste or half-breed? And would you like me to elaborate? Why not?
To the people who are outraged at the sacking of Carol Thatcher over saying this word and refusing to apologise about it, I suggest a trip to the Kent coast where you can still buy knitted golliwogs alongside those dolls with crinolines that are used to cover toilet rolls.See the full content of this document
