A SENIOR manager has been suspended by one of Scotland's largest health boards over allegations she created a hospital post for her daughter in the face of massive budget cuts.

Helen McMahon, 48, is accused of hiring her daughter, Lynda, 25, for a nursing job she invented then failed to advertise - despite recent ward and hospital closures meaning thousands of medical staff are currently on the dole.
