WHEN the British Fashion Council announced last week that it would not impose a ban on 'size zero' models at next month's London Fashion Week, the national outcry was, in many ways, understandable.
Last September, Madrid banned ultra skinny models from the catwalk. In Milan, the girls are required to produce a medical certificate before they can take part in a show.
