Tulips can still be planted in late November, just ensure the bulbs are not soft as they may have begun to rot. But it is too late for daffodil bulbs as they should be in by October's end.

Climbing and rambling roses can be cut back now. Be sure to remove all damaged or diseased branches and cut all side shoots to three buds. While doing this, train all stems as horizontally as possible as this will improve the flowering rate.
