TALKS aimed at stopping Iran's production of enriched uranium collapsed yesterday after two days of negotiations.
EU foreign minister Baroness Ashton said no date had been set for another meeting but added: 'Our door remains open, our telephone lines remain open.' The meeting in Istanbul was aimed at persuading Iran to obey UN Security Council demands. But Baroness Ashton blamed lack of progress on Iran's insistence on an end to UN sanctions and its rejection of improved UN monitoring of its nuclear activities.See the full content of this document
