MUCH has been said in the build-up to the first Test about Nasser Hussain's future as an England cricketer. But while I understand the arguments for blooding young players as early as possible, if an established batsman like Nasser is still good enough and motivated enough to play, he should have first crack.
Clearly, as I approach my 35th birthday, my name will also be discussed with regard to forward planning.
