Summary
I read recently that human rights campaigners are asking for the oath of allegiance to the Queen to be scrapped. They say the oath - sworn by MPs, judges and church leaders - is unfair and that, because the Queen is head of the Church of England, it could also be an infringement of the rights of other religious groups.
This is just another attack on the Monarchy by republicans. With all the things that need putting right, they criticise the Monarchy, the one thing that has worked very well for many years and is envied all over the world.See the full content of this document
