At leAst seven soldiers are suing the state, claiming an anti- malarial drug has left them depressed and suicidal, the Irish Mail on sunday can reveal.

Aged in their 30s and late 40s, the men are all serving or retired non-commissioned officers who were given controversial drug lariam before serving in Africa - even though their superiors were prescribed a different drug.
