PADDY BRADLEY proved that reports of his demise were greatly exaggerated in the best way possible as he powered Derry into the third round of the All-Ireland SFC qualifiers with a virtuoso performance against Monaghan in Clones.

In an exciting game, which hugely contrasted with the ugly Ulster SFC opener in May between the same sides, the 2007 All Star scored 2- 8 (with all but two points coming from play) to post more than half of his county's winning tally (3-16 to 0-20).
