CELTIC are on the trail of Kenyan midfielder Victor Wanyama, who is being eyed as a contingency transfer target in the event of Beram Kayal leaving the club this summer.

Parkhead boss Neil Lennon is not resigned to losing Israeli Kayal -- and the player himself has stated a willingness to stay put in Glasgow for at least another year -- but the club are well aware that his head could be turned by interest from the English Premier League, where both Bolton Wanderers and Sunderland have been credited with an interest.
