SPORTS broadcaster Setanta has been given until Friday to pay the Premier League Pounds 35 million and convince its potential buyer - controversial US billionaire Len Blavatnik - that its new Pounds 50 million business plan will succeed.

The payment is for the existing broadcast rights for the Premier League matches and was due tomorrow, after the League had already given the company a month's grace.
