RONNIE 'CHOPPER' HARRIS, Tommy 'The Anfield Iron' Smith and Norman 'Bites Yer Legs' Hunter are apparently in great demand on the after-dinner speaking circuit. Sadly, I have never heard their acts but I gather that the beautiful game does not dominate their discourse.
Instead, as you might expect from those sensitive sobriquets, they deliver bloodon-the-studs stories of the good old days, when men were men and tackles were tackles and nobody explained or dared to complain.
