A YOUNG farmer who underwent a pioneering double-lung transplant has said he'd probably be jailed if he spoke his mind about the treatment of fellow Irish cystic fibrosis sufferers.

Paul Minchin is enraged at last week's litany of delays and stalled promises by Health Minister Mary Harney over the planned new specialist unit for sufferers of the condition. 'That unit was being promised three years ago when I was in St Vincent's,' he said.
