AN IRAQ War hero hit out last night at the 'sheer incompetence' of the Ministry of Defence as it was embarrassed into action by revelations of squalid living conditions at Britain's military barracks.
In the week since The Mail on Sunday exposed how thousands of our frontline soldiers are returning to damp, poorly-maintained barracks, the scandal has been followed up by all major TV, radio stations and newspapers.
