A COMPLAINT from Ryanair nearly stopped RAF warplanes using an airport during the Libyan bombing campaign - because they were getting in the way of budget passengers.
While brave RAF crews were putting their lives at risk, the Irish airline raised its concerns with bosses at Trapani airport in Sicily. The complaint was passed to Italy's government in Rome, which asked the Ministry of Defence to move its aircraft to alternative Italian military bases.See the full content of this document
