Born and educated in west London, Imogen Poots is fast becoming one of the most promising British actresses of the decade. Having joined the Young Blood theatre company 'purely as something to do on a Saturday', she made her TV debut as a pregnant teenager in Casualty and landed a minor role in V For Vendetta in 2006, before fully breaking onto the big screen in 2007's 28 Weeks Later. Since then she has starred opposite Michael Douglas in his forthcoming film, the acclaimed Solitary Man, and appeared in the TV dramas Miss Austen Regrets and Bouquet Of Barbed Wire. Now 21, she is currently filming a remake of the 1985 horror classic Fright Night, with Colin Farrell and David Tennant.
