Heckling actors is not an activity he is normally associated with but on this occasion he felt driven to make his protest heard even if they couldn't possibly hear him.

The object of his ire was the Oscar-winning Australian Geoffrey Rush, who plays Snowdon's very good friend Peter Sellers in the new film The Life And Death Of Peter Sellers. 'Who is this man?' Lord Snowdon asked to nobody in particular. Indeed I and his 25-year-old daughter Lady Frances are the only other people in the room.
