AN ANGRY shareholder in Royal Bank of Scotland has launched a campaign to sue the bank over its rights issue last year in which it called on shareholders to stump up Pounds 12 billion, only to collapse into Government ownership a few months later.

Michael Lamoureux said RBS understated the situation it was in. 'The Pounds 12 billion they were asking for was never going to be enough,' he said.
