DERVAL O'ROURKE once again rose to the occasion in a major championship final, she claiming a precious European silver medal in the 100m hurdles final in Barcelona yesterday.

The Cork native put the smile back on Irish Athletics after a disappointing few days, clocking 12.65 seconds, breaking her own national record of 12.67 which she set when finishing a heartbreaking fourth in the World Championship final in Berlin last year.
