SOL CAMPBELL (right) was threatened with a knife attack if Arsenal won the Premiership at White Hart Lane - the real reason he did not rush to celebrate in front of the Gunners fans after the 2- 2 draw sealed the Premiership title. The former Tottenham defender claimed he went straight to the dressing room after the game because his presence would have been inflammatory, but he had received the sickening threat in a letter before the north London derby.

Spurs' security officials were worried that a significant number of fans might invade the pitch at the end - and that one could have been a madman with a concealed weapon.
