THOUSANDS will line the streets of London in 13 days' time when 189 of the world's finest cyclists set off from Trafalgar Square, dash down Whitehall and take in the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace before sprinting to the finish on The Mall.

Many more will watch the following day as the peloton of the Tour de France winds its way through Kent on a 120-mile journey from the capital to Canterbury.
