MOTHERWELL boss Jim Gannon still hopes to add half-a-dozen new players to his Motherwell squad but has promised the club's supporters he will be careful with their money.

The Irishman will spend the next couple of days juggling his recruitment drive in preparation for the Steelmen's Europa League second-round qualifying tie with Albanians Flamurtari . He has funds to spend but, with the club having recently been forced to sell David Clarkson and Paul Quinn, is working on a tight budget as he seeks to improve the squad inherited from Mark McGhee.
