STIRLING ALBION boss Allan Moore warned his players before kick- off that Stranraer were their 'bogey team.' His words proved prophetic as the Forthbank side plunged to a 2-0 defeat and dented their faint hopes of catching leaders Morton.

Stranraer took the lead seven minutes from the interval through striker Michael Moore and, although Stirling fought back, Stranraer sealed their win in the last minute when Michael Mullan beat the offside trap to score.
