ENTREPRENEUR Robert Tchenguiz plans a bid of more than Pounds 2.5 billion for pubs group Mitchells Butlers within the next ten days, well within the May 8 deadline set by the Takeover Panel on Friday.

MB shares are now 486p and Tchenguiz's investment vehicle, R20, is set to offer from 525p to 550p.
