TELEVISION may have given us a glimpse of the opulence of the state banquet held at Windsor Castle on Wednesday for French President Nicolas Sarkozy. But this picture truly captures the scale and grandeur of the event. One hundred and sixty guests sat down to dine in St George's Hall, which has been painstakingly restored after being gutted by the fire of 1992. Our remarkable picture shows:
