Practitioners of the treatment for ME, which led to Jane Flowers's 'flash recovery' (You magazine), claim 85 per cent success. Action for ME's 2008 survey revealed that only 53 per cent of our survey respondents found it helpful, 31 per cent said it made no difference and 16 per cent said it made them worse. ME is a chronic fluctuating illness and no one treatment has been proven to be beneficial to everyone affected.
