First there was Tommy the show. Now The Who's album Quadrophenia (Theatre Royal, Brighton, then on tour) **** comes to the stage - darker, stranger and louder than ever.

Forget the 1979 film which featured mods and rockers beating merry hell out of each other on Brighton beach. This show goes back to the 1973 'concept album' and has four actors playing Jimmy - each represents different aspects of his personality - on stage at the same time.
