ANDRE AGASSI, one of the greatest players in the history of tennis, last night revealed that this year's Wimbledon will be the last time he graces the grasscourts of the All England Club. He will retire from the sport after the US Open, which ends in early September.

Agassi, who plays Serbia's Boris Pashanski in the first round on Tuesday, made his emotional announcement yesterday lunchtime, thus signalling the end of a 20-year career on the senior men's circuit that has seen him win eight Grand Slam titles, including Wimbledon in 1992, and an incredible 60 titles on the senior tour.
