GARETH THOMAS can imagine no better way to close the final chapter on his very own French Connection than to lead Wales to victory over Les Bleus in their last World Cup warmup game at the Millennium Stadium this afternoon.
Three years ago, Thomas turned his back on domestic rugby in Wales to sign a lucrative deal with Toulouse. But after three seasons at Stade Ernest Wallon, the 33-year-old Wales captain has returned home to launch a new career with Cardiff Blues, although the switch is still the subject of a legal battle between Thomas and the French club.See the full content of this document
